Labour Launch "Father's Month" Plan for Paternity Leave

Ed Miliband has aimed his sights at the family vote by announcing that, if they win the election, Labour would double paternity leave to four weeks and add an extra £100 a week to bring it in line with minimum wage.

Miliband has branded the scheme “father’s month”, however the British Chamber of Commerce has referred to the plan as a “tax on business”.

This would be in addition to the Shared Paternal Leave initiative announced last year.
