A 20 year-old Texas man has had a picture of his baby son tattooed on his face to the general bemusement of the internet. Electrician Christien Sechrist justified the inking by explaining that little Perseus had been close to death at one point and that he wanted to celebrate his recovery.
Sechrist posted a picture on his Facebook page with the words “Thanks Cody Gibbs for doing awesome work on me! Looks just like my son.” He insists that he will still be able to hold down a job – presumably, as an electrician, he could specialise in power outages so people wouldn’t notice the tatt until he’d completed the job – and that it was entirely worth the disapproval on social media because his son smiled when he saw it.
However, following the news that the Apple Watch won’t work if you have a tattoo sleeve, if iPhones also began to log similar issues, but with users’ faces, it would mean that Sechrist could soon be incommunicado. Actually, considering the reaction that it that picture has caused…that’s probably for the best.
It’s a world away from traditional Dad Fashion, but it is catching on with Bewildered Dad…
