Bewildered Family Guide to Yorkshire – Scarborough

In the latest episode of the Bewildered Guide to Yorkshire, Elsa, Seth and I visited Scarborough to see how family friendly it is. Take a look at the video:

Our Family Day Out in Scarborough

Look at the weather in that video! It certainly helped us have a fantastic family day in Scarborough, but even when it’s grey there’s plenty to do. Some people look down on the town, but it has plenty to offer. Yes, it’s unashamedly a full-on British seaside resort, with all the amusements, donkeys and greasy doughnuts that come with that, but what’s wrong with that? That stuff is a lot of fun and there’s so much more to enjoy as well.

Scarborough Family Attractions

We loved exploring the South Cliff and the rockpools in the South Bay – you could spend a whole day hunting down sea creatures. Well, as much of the day as the tide allows, of course. The Spa is a beautiful building hosting a load of great events and there are loads of great parks in which to play.

Have you been to Scarborough with the kids? What did you enjoy the best? Let me know in the comments.
