The Bewildered Family Guide to Yorkshire is a slightly silly but informative video series featuring seven-year-old Elsa, four-year-old Seth and me visiting towns and cities across God’s Own Country and testing how family friendly they are.

Background to the Bewildered Family Guide to Yorkshire
I started this series because I love the county and want to show it off. I’m not from Yorkshire originally (although everyone seems to assume Scunthorpe is in South Yorkshire anyway), but I’ve chosen to live here and bring up a family. We live in the shadow of the moors and I truly believe it’s one of the most spectacular places in the world. However, it’s not just that – there are amazing cities, fantastic attractions and Yorkshire Tea (the best tea) tastes better when made with genuine Yorkshire water too.

Bradford

Knaresborough

Saltaire
