The Bewildered Family Guide to Yorkshire started as a collection of videos I make with my kids, exploring the weird and wonderful things you can get up to with the family in this great county. You can see all the guides so far at the main Bewildered Family Guide to Yorkshire page. But now there is also a Bewildered Family Guide to Yorkshire live show.

Bewildered Dad Live in Ilkley

The Ilkley show is part of the Ilkley Literature Festival Fringe and is a free event. It’s an hour long and takes place at the Ilkley Playhouse. Ilkley is the nearest town to where I live, so I’m hugely excited about getting on stage.

If you are interested, go and say so on the Facebook page. It will remind you to come and it makes me look popular. Win/win. Here’s the link:

The show will feature some clips from the previous family guides, along with new videos and a fun look at why Yorkshire is so good for families. It’s part stand-up comedy, part episode of Wish You Were Here, and part game show. There will be prizes to be won on the night.

Bewildered Family Guide to Yorkshire Live

Obviously because it is a late show, Elsa and Seth will be tucked up in bed, but they will be present in video form. It should be really good fun and, if you can’t make it, I hope to video it and stick it up on YouTube. We’ll see how the technical bits work out.

More Bewildered Family Guide to Yorkshire Live Dates

There aren’t currently any other Bewildered Family Guide to Yorkshire Live dates booked in, but I hope to perform the show around the county. If you would like to host the show, get in contact today and we can sort out a suitable date. My idea is to skew the content towards the place in which the show appears, whilst also celebrating the entire county, North, South, East and West.
