A new YouTube channel dedicated to showcasing the lives of real dads has been officially launched today, with the featured fathers (including me) offering their insight into their experiences of the labour room. The channel aims to bring “a real, honest and fresh perspective on parenting from dads with different experiences who all share their unique take on parenting”, with 10 vloggers regularly releasing videos on a range of parenting themes.
The brains behind the operation are Heart London drivetime host Jason King and Al Ferguson of The Dad Network, who have selected ten dads for the channel from across the country, a variety of walks of life and with a mix of family situations to present their stories. You can see their latest videos by following the link and subscribing to the YouTube channel.
“Dad Channel is the voice of fatherhood. It provides a platform for dads to share their inner most thoughts, the highs and lows of parenting and an honest account of fatherhood. Plus, it gives mums the chance to see and hear what dads really think!” Says Al.
Jason adds, “we’ve been overwhelmed at the quality, creativity and enthusiasm of the dad vloggers. They are excited to have a place to share their stories and speak openly and honestly.”
It’s a fantastic project I’m honoured to be a part of and here’s some really fascinating funny, interesting and tear-jerking stuff on offer right now, so make sure you subscribe to Dad Channel!
